With celebration of a life well lived, we the family, announce the passing of Raymond Joseph Christie, husband of the late Alfreda (Robichaud) Christie, which occurred peacefully on Monday, December 26th, 2022 at the age of 95.
Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late William and Adelina (Chiasson) Christie.
He is survived by four children: Gail Badman (Roy), Karen Vienneau (Charles), Roy Christie (Nicole) and Susan Christie all of Bathurst.
Four grandchildren: Kristi Roach (Jason), Michelle MacDonald (Anthony), Bradley Christie and Jeffrey Christie.
Five great-grandchildren: Jack and Joey Roach, Amy and Edward MacDonald and Amelia Christie.
Two brothers, Lawrence (Delima) and Emile (Nicole); one sister, Lorraine Doucet all of Bathurst.
Several nieces and nephews
Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by sisters: Mayda, Dora, Albina, Anita and Eva and brothers: Gilbert, Allie, Kenneth, Leonard, Aurele, Vincent, William Jr.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, December 30th, 2022 at 11:00 am from Holy Family Church.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Prestige Residence for the excellent care and everything they did to keep Raymond healthy and happy each and every day!
Donations in memory of Raymond can be made to the charity of your choice.
