It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Raphael Joseph Fleming of Lamaline announces his passing. Raphael passed away at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence on Thursday, April 14th, 2022, at the age of 88.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Gladys of 65 years; sons, Wayne (Mary) of Point May, Rick (June) of Lamaline, Rocky (Chantal) of Lamaline; daughters, Rose Marie (Walter) Foote of Lamaline, Sharon Fleming of Point May; brothers, Harold Fleming of Halifax, Tom Fleming of Toronto; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Raphael was predeceased by parents, Lawrence & Mary Fleming; son, Raphael Jr.; sisters, Rita, Marjorie; brothers, Terrence, Benedict, Michael; parents in-law, Fergus & Mary Dunphy.
The Fleming Family will be accepting visitors at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Allan’s Island, NL on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sunday, April 17th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will take place at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Allan’s Island, NL on Monday, April 18th, 2022 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Allan’s Island.
In Raphael’s memory donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund, Allan’s Island, NL.
