Obituary of Randy Drummond
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Drummond on May 8, 2022. After fighting a long battle with cancer, Randy passed away at his home with his family, and “fur family” by his side at 65 years of age. Dear husband of Denise with whom he shared almost 47 years of marriage. Proud father of Jason (Diana) and Stacey. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Beth (Nee Howe) Drummond and his other dad and mom Nick and Elizabeth Neufeld. He is also predeceased by his sister-in-law Ellice, brother-in-law Ken, and brother-in-law Jerry. He is survived by his brother Rick (Carol), sister Karen, brother David (Marie), brother Arthur (Anna) and sister Cheryl. Brother-in-law to Linda (Harry) and Don (Deb). He was also an uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews and lucky enough to have many good lifelong friends. Randy was a carpenter by trade building and renovating many homes in the area. He could always be found working in his spare time with wood in his garage, working on special projects and paying attention to details. A quiet man, always listening, but had very few words to say, a jack of all trades. He enjoyed a good prank from time to time. He will always live on in our hearts! Many thanks to the Hospice Team. A special thanks to his long term home nurse Cheryl, who was with him right from the beginning of his journey, as well as Heidi and Jamie all from St. Elizabeth Healthcare. With the help of these dedicated nurses, Randy was able to stay home, per his wishes. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Erie Shores Hospice (Hospice Erie Shores Campus) would be appreciated.
