Ralph George Wallis
Age 68, Ralph passed away peacefully at home in Windsor Road, Lunenburg County on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022. Born on September 8th, 1953, in New Glasgow, he was the youngest son of the late George and May (Preston) Wallis.
Ralph retired from FMF Cape Scott (NDT Technician) within the HMC Dockyard, Halifax after 37 and a half years. He was a proud and loving father to his sons Marc and Scott, dearly loved husband to Clare for 45 years and Grampy to his much loved little boys.
Survived by his wife Clare (Rice), Marc and Melissa (Isnor), grandsons Aden and Fraser of Enfield, Scott and Nicole (Cleveland), grandsons Jack and Emerson of Windsor Road, brother Lloyd and Cora (Dove) of Yarmouth, sister Catherine and Mike Kiley of Stellarton, niece, nephews and cousins.
In accordance with Ralph’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Special thanks to Dr. Donald Rowe, Chemotherapy Nurses and the Medical Day Unit at Colchester East Hants Hospital, Colchester East Hants Palliative Care, Lunenburg District Palliative Care and Lunenburg District VON and especially Palliative Care Nurse Melanie Spence, VON Nurses Darlene, Wanda, Tina and Sheila for their kindness and compassion during Ralph’s illness.
