It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Elaine Haynes
Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Friend
Phyllis passed away peacefully surrounded by her girls at Joseph Brant Hospital on Sunday, November 27, 2022
Loving wife of Jack
Devoted mother of Susan (John), Sandra (Jeff), Karen (Mait)
Caring grandmother of Abby (Dennis), Patrick (Diane), JD (Mayanna), Clayton, Ellie, Ryan
Thoughtful great grandmother of Henry, Oliver, Jacob
Sister of Laurel (Lowell), Eleanor (Fred), Ron deceased (Pauline) deceased
Phyllis was a majorette, a member of the glee club and the winter carnival queen in Camrose, Alberta. She was a nurse, an avid curler and bridge player. She volunteered at the United Church as a Sunbeam and Explorer teacher and helped out at the Alzheimer’s association. Phyllis worked with Jack at the family Insurance brokerage but most of all she loved to entertain her family and friends at their home in Etobicoke. She loved the waterfront and was able to enjoy till her final days
The family is having a Celebration of Life on Friday, December 2, 2022
