Phillip A Budd 2022 avis de deces

Phillip A. Budd,
68, of Gallagher Ridge, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at The
Moncton Hospital, with his family by his side. Born in Moncton he was
the son of Cleveland and Irene (Trites)
Budd.
Growing up in
Gallagher Ridge. Phil was always an outdoor person. His lifelong
interests included hunting, fishing, camping with his family and many
lifelong friends. A long-term dream was realized with the
construction of “Muthalode” in Otter Brook, and followed by
“Jake’s Place” in the Ridge. The camps were tops
in his list of happy places.
He also enjoyed
participation in darts, pool leagues and was an avid cribbage fan
– the standard invitation being “got a dollar?”
The pool table in the basement was the site of many extended marathons
preceded by “hey – shoot a game?” to anyone who
wandered through the door. In keeping with his love of the outdoors
Phil’s work life was also spent in outside occupations
– lumbering, wood cutting and as a heavy equipment operator.
He always spent a part of everyday outside to “get the stink
blown off”. Whenever there was a problem in one of his constant
repair projects he would call on “the mouse” to Mickey it
together – it usually would
work.
His family was
near and dear to his heart. They could always turn to “Dad”
“Uncle Phil” “Grampy” for advice and help. The
standard greeting was “What did you break now?” – followed
by discussion to make arrangements to get the problem
fixed.
Phil will be sadly
missed by all who had the opportunity to know and spend time with
him.
Phillip is
survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Violet (MacPhail) Budd;
daughters Jolene Budd (James Walker) and Kerry Anne Budd; step
children William Renton (Michelle) and Tara Renton (Corey Doiron);
grandchildren Austin (Jocelyn), Sebastian (Amber), Taylor (Brody),
Delia, Brynn, Jakob (Camille), great grandson Walker; sister Elizabeth
