It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather, Philip O’Leary at the great age of 84. Predeceased by his parents Philip and Mary O’Leary (Rose), wife Emma (Power), son Philip, infant brother William, sister Kay Gover (Cliff), and nephew Stephen; and in-laws: Joe and Mag (Tom)
Leaving to mourn are his children Mike (Steff), Shawn (Carol Ann), Eileen (Kevin); grandchildren: Alysia, Brady, Jordan, Melissa, and Ryan; great-grandchild: Emma; sister: Agnes Whitten (Clyde – deceased); brothers-in-law: Derm; Paddy (Roxanne); sister-in-law: Betty (Ambrose – deceased).
Special friends and neighbors include Jeff and Eleanor Dyer, Fred and Lucy Conway, and nephews Damian and Bud. Along with special caregivers Patty, Tess, and Gail – your love and attention were above and beyond.
Philip also leaves behind an abundance of extended family – too numerous to mention – including multiple nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Foundation.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home on 84 LeMarchant Road on Monday, August 8th, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
The funeral mass will be held at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Tuesday, August 9th, at 11 am.
Cremation has taken place.
Burial and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
