Philip Dziaduck 2022

Obituary
With great sadness, the family of the late Phil Dziaduck announce his passing at the Regina General Hospital on September 1, 2022, at the age of 73.
Phil was born on September 2, 1948, to Aleck and Polly (nee Fofonoff) Dziaduck at Canora, SK. One of four children, he grew up on the family farm. He attended Devil’s Lake school in the early years and went on to finish his education in Canora.
Phil worked with the Coop, moving town to town for over a decade, until he settled back in Canora in 1978. He had a love for farming but was more passionate about billiards and opened Phil’s Billiards in 1989. Once his passion for billiards was fulfilled, he pursued a career with the RM of Good Lake, where he remained until he chose to retire.
Phil loved life to its fullest. He was a man of many talents and interests, which included fishing at Canora Beach, hunting, curling late nights at Buchanan, SK, spending time at the billiards, dancing, skidooing, woodworking, and rodeos. He also had a passion for cars. He knew how to drive them and knew how to stop on a dime!
He had an excellent sense of humor. He was known for his honesty and was always prepared to tell you how it was. He will be remembered for his kind-hearted nature, his generosity, and for always being willing to help his friends, family, and community members – no matter the time of day or night. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Phil was predeceased by his parents, Aleck and Polly Dziaduck; his brother, Larry Dziaduck; partner, Marlene Witzko; and his daughter, Crystal Dziaduck.
He is survived by his daughters, Denise (Jimmy) Jordan and Lindsey Witzko; sons, Chad (Jaime) Witzko and Jamie (Corry) Witzko; grandchildren: Damian, Brooklyn, Wyatt, and Destiny; sister, Gloria (Tim) Thomas; brother, Donny (Janet) Dziaduck; and sister-in-law, Adeline Dziaduck; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
A Public Visitation will be held from 7:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2022, from the Chapel of Leson’s Funeral Home, Canora, SK. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2022, from the Chapel of Leson’s Funeral Home, Canora, SK, with Shawna Leson as certified celebrant. Interment will follow in the Canora Cemetery, Canora, SK. Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to Diabetes Canada, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Phil Dziaduck.
