Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Friday, February 25th, 2022, Phil “Luke” to his Brothers Wakely at 78 years of age. Beloved husband of Bonnie Wakely (nee Teal). Loving father of Melissa Spigulis and Curtis Reid. Cherished grandfather of Brooke, Brett and Briah Boulerice. Dear brother of Gary, Paul (Marion), Bill, and predeceased by his siblings Judy, Mary, Richard and Wendy.
Phil was a sports fanatic and nothing made him happier or prouder than watching and cheering on his grandchildren in their many sports activities. Phil was also an avid reader and passionate about world history and researching his ancestry. He spent many days and nights at the library so those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Cobourg Public Library in his honour. As per Phil’s request, cremation with private family arrangements.
