WOOD, Peter Raymond- Age 77 of Hubbards Point passed away peacefully on November 11, 2022 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born February 26, 1945 in Yarmouth. He was a son of the late Harry and Shirley (Robicheau) Wood.
Peter enjoyed hunting, listening to CIFA and going out to breakfast with his friends. There is too many to list to be able thank for visits and help with whatever was needed around the house for Phyllis and Peter.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 53years, Phyllis (Foster) Wood. His daughter, Linda Hurlburt of Deerfield; his son, Mike (Joanne) Wood of Hubbards Point; sisters, Pat Forsythe and Susan (Ian) Cox both of Kentville; his grandchildren, Lacey (Brian), Lucas (Kristen), Jennaya (Branden), and Jeremy. He had one great grandchild, Alivia and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his second great grandchild, Braxton. He also had many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Charlie and son in law, Michael Hurlburt.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held at a later date. By request there will be no flowers.
