Pearl passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 23rd, 2022, at the age of 91 years, at Battleford Union Hospital.
Pearl was born in Birsay, Sk. She started her working career at age 18 for the Royal Bank in Rosetown, SK. After over 40 years, she retired as Manager of the RBC Mortgage Centre in Saskatoon in May 1991. She married Frederick Avery on October 11, 1957. They were married for 55 years when Fred passed away on November 1, 2012. During this wonderful union they were blessed with 3 sons. As a family, they lived in Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Regina and then back to Saskatoon. When they retired, they spent more time at Jackfish Lake (Cochin) and in the winters, Mesa, AZ. Pearl was known for her musical talents playing piano and singing. She was a kind person and always made everyone feel welcome. The “more the merrier” was her motto! Pearl loved sports and her favorite teams were the Toronto Blue Jays, Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Edmonton Oilers. She rarely missed watching a game!
