It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline Catherine McLean (Robertson) on Monday September 26, 2022.
Loving mother of Leigh McLean (Garth Prime) NS, Karen McLean (late Tony Cooper) Perth AU and the late Paul. Dear grandmother of Rhiannon Prime NS. Sister to Douglas (Marge) Lyons Brook, NS.
Pauline was pre-deceased by her husband of 67 years, Malcolm.
On September 22, 1925 Pauline was born in Caribou, Pictou Co. to Marion (Heughan) and Joseph Robertson, the third youngest of 17 children. She was a longtime resident of Metcalfe, ON where she lived for 55 years in the home she built with her husband. A member of St. Andrews United Church and the UCW she enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, was an avid bridge player and gardener. She made two trips to Australia to visit daughter Karen and looked forward to annual vacations to Nova Scotia to visit family. Friends were always welcome to drop in for coffee and a chat.
At Pauline’s request funeral services will be held privately with burial in St. Luke’s Pinehill Cemetery, Hubbards NS.
