Obituary for Pauline Boyer (Mercier)
The family announces with sadness the passing of Pauline Lilia Boyer at Mackenzie Health Hospital, Palliative Care, in Richmond Hill on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Survived by her loving husband Ronald of 57 years, cherished mother to her two sons and daughters-in-law; Donald (Youki) and Kevin (Heather) and extended family including Lionel, Albert, several nieces, nephews as well as many cherished life long friends in Timmins. She was predeceased by her parents Armand and Mary, sister-in-law Pierette, and best friend Ellen.
In her younger years, Pauline was an avid golfer and bowler, and also loved playing cards with friends at the Seniors Centre in Timmins. She also assisted with the transportation for children with disabilities and was an avid supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society, always making time to volunteer.
The family will have a private service at a later date. Cremation has taken place and interment of her ashes will occur at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery later in 2022. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mackenzie Health Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
The family appreciates the professionalism and compassion demonstrated by Mackenzie Health staff. We especially wish to thank Dr. Patafio, Dr. Geoffroy, Nurse Ellie and team.
