Obituary for Paula Altiman
With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Paula Altiman, a member of Walpole Island First Nations on January 31, 2022 at the age of 54. Daughter of the late Clifford ‘Cabac’ Nahdee and Lorrine Altiman. Loving Mother of Elexceis ‘Lexie’ Altiman (Neejig), Troy Altiman, Desiree Pinnance (Enos), Farrah Pinnance (Kristy) and Bianca Pinnance (Paul), Colton Altiman (Toni), Delcie Shipman and Santana Shipman. Cherished grandmother of Zeren, Avery, Aysha, Elijah, Zyre, Keira, Kason, Kaliyah, Dyami, Kalan, Weston, Paisley, Braxton, Abel and Sumeiya. She will be missed dearly by her siblings Dorothy ‘Dot’ peters, Bertha Altiman, Jennifer Clayton-Douglas and the late Urla ‘Peanuts’ Altiman and Alan ‘Shanks’ Altiman as well as by her many nieces, nephews and extended family Family and friends are invited for community visitation at HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519.627.3231) on Sunday February 6, 2022 from 1-4pm. Her Traditional Funeral Service will be held at Walpole Island Sports Complex on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11am with cremation to follow.
