Paul LeBreton April 24 2022 August 24 2022

Obituary
Passed away on August 24, 2022, at the young age of 56. Paul was the son of Napoléon (Paul) LeBreton (1916-1996) & Émilia Gauthier (1929-2003) of Mattawa, Ontario. He was the beloved husband for 24 wonderful years to Heather Lynn Warren (daughter of Alexander (Sanny) Warren and Nancy Maeck) from Sturgeon Falls. They were married on Valentine’s Day: February 14, 1998. Paul was a loving father to Stephanie, Alyssa, Emily, Kayla & Anaiah. Nothing was more special to Paul than his four wonderful grandchildren: Rayne & Harlow Plouffe LeBreton and Forest Paul & Starling LeBreton-Raymond. Paul was a dear brother to Pauline, Joseph – 1953-1979, Madeleine – 1954-2003 (Edward Guilbeault), Thérèse (Leo Desrosiers 1974-2003), Charles, André, and Noella (Albert Chartier). He was a loving uncle to John, Billy, Kevin & David Lanktree, Cindy & Steven Guilbeault, Leo Joseph & Tammy Desrosiers, Crystal, Renée, Janelle & Janessa LeBreton, André Jr. LeBreton, Dwayne & Crystal Lanktree and many other great nieces & nephews.
Paul was raised in Mattawa. Despite being poor, Paul loved his childhood and had many adventures. Paul graduated from F.J. McElligott Hight School and later attended Canadore & Cambrian Collage. Paul gave his life to God when he was 19 and was baptised in Jesus’ name in the Sturgeon River (Sturgeon Falls, Ont.). Paul worked as a Millwright at Tembec (Rayonier) in Temiscaming Qc. and retired in April after 30 years of service. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, loved camping at ToJo’s with his children & grandchildren, loved music, movies, and Funko Pop’s. Paul served as a Deacon in the church and was a member of the Christian motorcycle club “Eternal Riders”. He loved flying south in the winter with his wife Heather. He was passionate about looking into his genealogy and adding all the information he found to his genealogy books called “LeBreton Un Nom Une Famille – LeBreton A Name A Family” & “Gauthier Un Nom Une Famille – Gauthier A Name A Family”. Paul had many trials & tribulations but stayed true to his word and kept his faith in Jesus, his Saviour, until the end.
At his request, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday August 30th, 2022, between the hours of 10AM to 1PM for a Memorial Visitation, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1PM at the McGuinty Funeral Home.
