Paul André Ricard passed away, peacefully, Sunday July 24, 2022 at the age of 80. Former volunteer firefighter from 1969 to 1997 and he received from the Governor General of Canada the Fire Service Exemplary Service Medal, Cleyn & Tinker worker and a plumber at the end of his career. Special thanks to the staff at the Huntingdon County Hospital for their excellent care. Paul André was the loved father of Suzanne (Douglas MacFarlane), Jenny Lynn (Leslie Feeny), Paul André Jr. (Linda Besner) and Joy (Roger Ricard- Racine). Missed by his grandchildren, Cody, Keith, Chelsea, Leslie (Courtney), Mandy (David), Kenny (Jenny), Debbie (Matthew), Jessica, Curtis and Austin. He will also be remembered by his great grandchildren Lily, Willow, Emma, Daniel, Grace, Brody, Ellie and Hudson. Predeceased by his brothers Nelson (late Florette Lepage) and Roger (Jean Harrigan). He will be remembered fondly by many family, friends and township. Family and friends may pay their respects at Rodrigue Montpetit & Fils Funeral Home. 170, Châteauguay Street, Huntingdon, Quebec, on Saturday, July 30 from 10 to noon followed by the burial at the Huntingdon St-Joseph Cemetery. À Huntingdon, le dimanche, 24 juillet 2022, à l’âge de 80 ans est décédé paisiblement Paul André Ricard . Paul André fut un pompier volontaire de 1969 à 1997, il a reçu du Gouverneur Général du Canada la médaille de pompiers pour services distingués, il a travaillé pour Cleyn &Tinker ainsi que plombier à la fin de sa carrière. Nous tenons à remercier le personnel de l’Hôpital de Huntingdon pour leur excellent soin. Paul André est le père bien-aimé de Suzanne (Douglas MacFarlane), Jenny Lynn (Leslie Feeny), Paul André Jr. (Linda Besner) et Joy (Roger Ricard- Racine). Il restera dans la mémoire à jamais de ses petits-enfants Cody, Keith, Chelsea, Leslie (Courtney), Mandy (David), Kenny (Jenny), Debbie (Matthew), Jessica, Curtis, Austin ainsi que de ses arrière-petits-enfants Lily, Willow, Emma, Daniel, Grace, Brody, Ellie et Hudson.
