Obituary
Paul Alexander Dorman passed away on April 11, 2022 on a beautiful sunny day. Paul was jovial, a genus with big personality. He was a man who tried and did everything from flying a 747, deep sea diving while chasing a octopus who had stolen his wrench, love and work on many different ships including BC ferry, volunteer firefighter, work as a security guard and private eye, volunteer at his kids school when they were young, participated in outdoors activities, long haul truck driver, voice coach for Hollywood movies including the Hunt for Red October. Paul was a gifted musician, so many more things. Also, Paul had tea with Gene Hackman in Vancouver, he played the drum for the Bee Gees in a concert in England, he also hung out with Sir Paul McCartney on Hauling Island, who showed him to play guitar left handed. Paul loved his family, grand kids, love cat Ernie and his dog Mickey and yes he love birds too. Paul would of love to stay here on earth a little longer yet his pain was too much. Paul is now free and gone to join his mother Peggy and dad Ernie, his brothers who predeceased him. He will be miss by all who loved him, he leaves behind his 2 children, Nevada, Joshua all his 9 grand kids, his 2 step kids, Nolan, Justi, son in law Mike, Aaron, Jeremy, Jarrod, his buddy Steve, Richard, he is going to be miss by his sister Ann, nephew Brent and his niece Dr. Jayne… many more.. mother in law Delcia, wife Anne Marie. Life will go on yet the words I Love You means so much more.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday April 22 at Nanaimo Townsite Road Cemetery, followed by a memorial celebration MGM restaurant at 5 pm on Friday day of funeral, for family or friends to join us to remember Paul.
