Patsy Elaine Blalock – age 61 of Knoxville passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Ascension St. Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro following a short illness. Former member of South Knoxville Church of God and former employee of Knox Rail Salvage.
Preceded in death by husband, Jeffery Blalock; parents, Roscoe and Flora Tolliver; adoptive parents, Frank and Maxine Anderson; brother, Waldo Hoskins; sister, Lucy Tolliver; and grandson, Rian Blalock.
Survived by sons, David (Samantha) and Brian Blalock; brother, Doug Hoskins; sisters, Grace (Jerry) Ownby, Liz (Audie) Long, Darlene Leatherwood, and Mary Shelton; adopted sisters, Frankie, Sharon, and Veneita; grandchildren, Kaylie, Brooke, Mackenzie, Arissa, Hayden, Riley, Ian, Taylor, Skyler, and Hunter; and special niece, Natasha.
The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, January 9, 2022, at South Knoxville Church of God followed by the funeral service at 4:00 PM with Rev. Robert Branch and Rev. Bill Suttles officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:15 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at East TN Veterans Cemetery-John Sevier for a 12:30 PM interment.
