CONWAY, Patrick Joseph Conway
(March 23, 1930 – September 22, 2022) –
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Patrick at Kipling Acres, Toronto. He leaves behind his beloved wife Joyce of 67 years. He leaves behind his children Michael (Melanie), Brian (Ron), Denise (Jerry) and Sean (Mary) and his cherished grandchildren Sean, Gregory, Christopher, Courtney, Megan, Olivia, Anna and Emma, and great-grandchildren Frances and Ruby. Survived by his brother Donald and many nephews and nieces in Ireland, England, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Conway, and siblings Mary, Margaret, Bridget, Kitty, Michael, John and James. A much-loved husband, father, and grandfather. A great friend, neighbour, and storyteller. Fondly remembered by family in Kerry, Ireland and Killarney, Ontario. Founding parish council member of St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church. Long-time volunteer with Humber River Hospital (York Finch). Retired after 33 years with the TTC (ATU Local 113). Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
