Patricia “Patti” Mary Lockhart
1961-2022
It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Patricia “Patti” Mary Lockhart, 60,
of Residence Helene, Moncton on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She
passed at the Moncton Hospital with her sisters by her side after a
long struggle with lung disease.
Patti was born on April 29, 1961 and
grew up in Hillsborough. She was the daughter of the late Deane and
Shirley (Wright) Lockhart.
Patti graduated from Caledonia
Regional High School where she made many lifelong friends. Patti held
various secretarial and accounting positions in her early adult life,
which she excelled at. Patti enjoyed knitting, cross stitching,
gathering with family and friends and talking on the phone. Her nieces
and nephews were especially dear to her. She will be
remembered for her great smile and caring
heart. “A warm smile is the universal language
of kindness.”
She will be deeply missed by her three
sisters, Janet Lockhart of Riverview, Anne Terris (David) of
Gunningsville and Lucie Brown (Bob) of Fredericton; by her treasured
six nieces and nephews, Margot, Luc, Lindsey, Shannon, Logan and
Megan. She will also be fondly remembered by many cousins and
friends.
Special thank you to the doctors and
nurses in Emergency, Neuro ICU and Palliative Care 3600, as well as,
Dr. Moses Alatishe and Dr. John Li for their wonderful care over the
years.
She will be resting at the Albert
County Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday, February 19, 2022
from 2-3 p.m. The funeral service will be held immediately after at 3
p.m. with Rev. Peggy Reid officiating. Interment will be in
Grey’s Island Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to the Canadian Mental
Health Association or to the Canadian Lung Association would be
greatly appreciated by the family.
