Patricia Banton passed away peacefully at Columbia View Lodge on July 12, 2022 at the age of 75.
Patricia was born in Trail on July 17, 1946. After graduating from high school in Trail, she enjoyed working, living, and learning in numerous places across BC, including: Nelson, New Westminster, Prince George, and Vanderhoof. However, Trail was always home and she returned to settle and retire among friends.
She was an avid quilter and strong supporter of the United Church. She got great pleasure from giving her time and creations to help others.
Patricia is survived by two sisters – Shirley (David), and Jackie (Jim), and also two nephews Edward and Jon and two nieces Marianne and Jenny and their children.
The family would like to thank Patricia’s supportive friends, as well as the staff of Columbia View Lodge for their care in her final days.
Family and close friends held a private celebration of life in July. Andreas Schmitz of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ was entrusted with arrangements.
