Obituary
Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers surrounded by her loving family on October 12, 2022, Patricia Chafe age 81 years.
Predeceased by her loving husband Hubert (May 28, 2017); parents: Raymond and Mildred O’Toole; sisters: Annie Cooney, Mercedes O’Toole, and brother Francis O’Toole; nephew Paul Cooney; mother and father -in-law: Chesley and Blanche Chafe; brothers-in-law: Eric, Lloyd, Don, Ray and Fred; sisters-in -law: Stella Boone and Allison Russell and special nephew Robert Russell.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her devoted children: Hubert Jr. (Debbie), Wayne (Andie), Darryl (Bobby Lynn) daughter Susan Chafe-Dalton (Tom); granddaughter Courtney; special nieces Renee Delany and Lori Russell and sister -in-law Shirley Chafe. The Chafe and Cooney families and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Chafe family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Sheilagh McGrath for the phone calls, check ins, and for her endless care and attention throughout moms’ illness. Also, we would like to thank Pleasant View Towers 2 North East and moms’ caregivers; Kevannah Burry, Keisha Goodyear and Cindy Hickey we will always remember your kindness, compassion and endless care.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Ave, on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 12:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 am from Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Patricia’s memory to The Alzheimer’s Association.
