Patricia Ann Johnson 19522022

Patricia Ann Johnson
1952-2022
Patricia Ann Johnson, 69, passed away peacefully, surrounded
by her loving family, after a hard-fought battle with cancer on
Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Born in Halifax, she was the
daughter of the late Arthur and Roberta Flanigan.
Trish will be forever loved by her husband of 50 years, Kirk
Johnson; cherished children, Daniel (Amy) Johnson, Emily (Eric)
O’Brien, Sarah (Adam) Johnson and David (Madison) Johnson;
proud Grammy to Haley, Joshua, Megan, Lauren and Molly and her sister
and best friend Colleen (Kevin) McGuigan.
Trisha had 2 passions in life. She was a dedicated
and passionate teacher, spending most of her career teaching
kindergarten at West Riverview School, leaving a lasting impression on
her colleagues and students and inspiring both her daughters to follow
in her footsteps. Above all else, she loved her
family. She was her children’s fiercest supporter,
cheering them on, celebrating their wins, praying for them, and always
reminding them to drive carefully. Being a Grammy was her
greatest joy and she never missed the chance to spend her days
surrounded by all the happy chaos they brought to her
life.
Respecting Trisha’s wishes, her family will
celebrate her life privately, which comes as no surprise to those who
knew her. Cremation has taken place at Cobb’s
Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview
(869-2007).
Donations in her memory can be made to a local food bank of
your choosing, a cause near and dear to her heart. Online
condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca.
