Obituary for
Pat Prokopiw
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear, sweet mother, Baba, sister, aunt and friend.
She passed very peacefully with her daughter holding her hand on April 8, 2022 at the age of 70 years.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Mike Prokopiw, son, David (Fanny) Prokopiw; daughter, Jolene (Ron) Szybunka and son, Mark (Leah) Prokopiw; grandchildren, Drake (Drew), Saige (Chris), Ella, Liv, Viggo, Bolton, Channing and Forbes; brother, Boris (Veda) Lastiwka; sister, Coreen (Wayne) Babiuk; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by her parents, Steve and Eva Lastiwka; sisters, Vicky (Victor) Andreychuk and Nettie (John) Radomsky; and brother, Lloyd (Laura) Lastiwka.
Pat will be remembered for her pure, loving heart, her kindness and her smile. A truer friend was never had.
Funeral Service Wednesday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Star-Peno with Basilian Fathers officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church or the Lamont Health Care Centre.
