À Sainte-Thérèse, le 24 février 2022, à l’âge de 81 ans, est décédé paisiblement et entouré de ses 4 enfants, M. Jacques Parent, époux de feu Mme Monique Gélinas.
Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Ghislain (Suzie), Judith (Jacques), Stéphane (Annie) et Danic (Annick), ses 10 petits-enfants, son arrière-petite-fille, ses frères Gilles et Pierre, ses beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux et nièces ainsi que de nombreux autres parents et amis.
Selon ses volontés, il n’y aura pas de rituel funéraire formel.
