It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of
Pamela Anne Poplar (nee White), age 62,
of River Hebert, NS. Pam fought a courageous battle with
cancer and passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side
on January 13th, 2022 at the Cumberland
Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst, NS.
Born in Amherst, NS, she was a daughter of the late Leon and
Laura (nee Scopie) White.
Pam was very caring and loved by all.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 43 years, Randy
Poplar, River Hebert, NS; children Natasha (Russell) McCrea, Regina,
SK, Raylene Poplar, Saskatoon, SK; 6 grandchildren, Savannah, Cayden,
Xavier, Nolan, Jessa and Odin; siblings Dawn (Stan) McEachern,
Amherst, NS and Dara White of Amherst, NS.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Billy
and sister Brenda.
We would like to thank the staff at LED Roadway Lighting,
Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre and Queen Elizabeth II Cancer
Centre.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of the
Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church
Street, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). Honoring Pam’s wishes,
cremation will take place with no service at this time. A
celebration of life will take place in the spring for family and close
friends with further information to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cumberland
Cancer Assistance Fund or charity of choice.
