Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Otto Gillard, age 82 years, of Fairbank, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Friday, February 18, 2022.
He is predeceased by his parents James & Meta, brothers-in-law Roy Boyde, Garfield Wheeler, Gordon Burt, Simon Lewis and sister-in-law Frances Gillard.
Left with fond and memories are his wife Dorothy, children Goldie (Elwood), Katherine (Terry), Lorraine (Danny), Trudy (Danny), Watson (Leah), 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, siblings Robert (Hazel), Elijah, Ruby, Blanche as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Resting at Eastside Salvation Army Citadel, Fairbank, NL. Public visitation will take place on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Proof of vaccination will be required.
Donations in Otto’s memory may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society.
