It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Orlando Vespoli, on December 16, 2022, at the age of 86. He is pre-deceased by his parents Giovanni and Incoronata and his brother Domenico.
Beloved husband of 68 years to Incoronata Terrigno, cherished father to Giovanni (Caterina) and Antonio (Susen). Devoted grandfather to Nadia (Nicola), Sabrina (Carlo), Vanessa (Kevin), Julian (Jenn) and Enrico (Julie). He will also be deeply missed by his great-grandchildren Massimo, Stefano, Gianna, Orlando and Noah. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Pasquale (Cristina), sister-in-laws Luisa (Michele), Maria (late Alessandro), Elisabetta (late Gennaro), nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.
Orlando was born in a small town called Macchiagodena in Italy. He will always be remembered for his great passion of gardening, wine making and his sense of humour. His family was always his greatest pride and joy.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm, and Thursday, December 22, 2022 as of 9:30 am at the Yves Légaré Complex in LaSalle, 7200 Newman blvd.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday December 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, 7935, rue Lefebvre, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the LaSalle Hospital for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
