Opal Marie Smith Calloway- age 86 of Blaine, her sunrise was May 1, 1935, with her sunset Friday, January 7, 2022. She was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Paul Calloway; mother, Minnie Belle Hodge Greer; father, Archie Smith; and step father, James Greer.
Survived by her daughter, Susan Calloway; sister, Karen (Greer) Maxwell; uncle Lewis Hodge; aunt Evelyn Hodge; and friend, Kim Booker Ogan, whom she loved as a daughter.
Family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm Tuesday, January 11 at Bridges Funeral Home. Family and friends will then gather at 3:00pm Tuesday, January 11 at Indian Ridge Cemetery for her interment. Pallbearers include Ernie Joyce, Donnie Hodge, Ray Myers, Roger Lowe, Fred Caughron, and Jerry Morgan. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Humane Society.
