Oakley Seaman Beal 19362022

Oakley Seaman Beal
1936-2022
Oakley Seaman Beal, 86, of Forest Dale Home and
formerly of Salem passed away peacefully on
May 6, 2022 with his family by his
side.
He was born in Midgic on February 11th, 1936 the son of the
late Earl and Ila (Richardson) Beal.
Oakley retired from Lounsbury Furniture after 39 years of
service at the age of 57 where he worked as Manager, he was known for
his friendly welcoming smile and great customer service. He
was truly a jack of all trades and could build or fix
anything. He was very community minded and was a former
volunteer with the St. John Ambulance while residing in Petitcodiac, a
former member of the Petitcodiac Kiwanis and served as a former
President of the Hillsborough Legion Branch # 32. Oakley was
a member of the Salem Baptist Church and was
baptized in the water at Ings Intervale. He was an avid card
player and loved to travel. He attended many Bluegrass
Festivals over the years and he loved to
dance.
Oakley was greatly blessed and happiest when at his home in
Salem surrounded by his family. He and his wife, Barb,
enjoyed living in the country and took solace in being
outdoors and working in the garden. They are known
for their jams and mustard pickles, which they supplied to many of
their friends and family. He loved his family very much and was very
proud of all their accomplishments over the years and who his
children had become. He was very proud of his grandchildren
as well and was a very hands on Grampy always wanting to know how
everyone was doing and always ready to give a helping hand when
needed. He had a way of making them think they
were all his favourites.
When we think of all the blessings in our lives,
he was right there at the very top of the list. His guiding
hand will be on our shoulders forever. Your words are our
strength, your stories of success in life are our
inspiration. Thank you for your love, care and support as
the best husband, dad, grampy and great grampy we could have
asked for. Until we meet again.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 65 years
Barbara; his daughters, Janet MacLeod (Nigel) and Heather Melvin
(Gordon) both of Salisbury; son, Craig Beal (Althea) of Shenstone; by
his treasured grandchildren, Vanessa, Alicia, Isaac (Amanda), Kristine
(Mike), Jennifer (Annie), Ryan (Jade), Jacob, Jeremy (Kayla) and Tyler
(Kaitlyn) and precious 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Art Beal
(Lynda) of Moncton, Gurney Beal (Leta) of Salisbury, Raymond Beal
(Beth) of Riverview and Reg Beal (Linda) of Moncton. He will
also be missed by several nieces and nephews and by many good
friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by Daughter-in-law,
Ellen Beal (2021)
