Norman Matties passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the age of 93, surrounded by his children. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty, of 51 years; parents Joe and Bertha Matties; siblings Myrtle Paulson, Fred Matties, Dorothy Wellington, Harold Matties; sister-in-law Ann Matties; and brother-in-law Rodney Broadis. Norman is survived by his sons Dale (Debbie), Dwight (Pam); daughters Charlene (Dale), Angela (Alan); grandchildren Nicole, Justin (Michelle), Devin, Zachary, Abigail; great-grandson Lucas; sisters-in-law Shirley Broadis, Ona Matties; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, at 10:00 a.m., with Diane Gilford officiating. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
