Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Norman
(Stormy) Adomeit on October 14, 2022, in Smithers, BC, at the age of
seventy.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Agnes, his brothers,
Gordie and Carl, and his nephew, Brent Nibogie. Norman leaves behind his
loving wife Diana, his children Jennifer (Daniel) Dykens, Paul (Ana)
Adomeit, Carol (Ryan) Beemer, and Brandon Whitecotton, and his nine
grandchildren Molly, Avery, Riley, Claire, Alisha, Lucas, Marcus, Lucy, and
Gerald, as well as his sisters, Mary-Ann (Rich) Bennett, Trudy (Richard)
Nibogie, Charlotte Adomeit, and Bernadette (David) Harding, and many
nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Smithers, he was a beloved member of the community.
Norm enjoyed coaching baseball and hockey, was a member of Town
council, a volunteer fireman, an Elks member, and was known for his sense of humour.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Smithers Golf Course on Saturday,
October 29, 2022, at 1:30pm. There will be an open mic to share your
favourite memories of Norman.
