Obituary
Niemela, Norman – Suddenly, at his home in Georgetown, on Saturday November 26, 2022. Norman, in his 62nd year, beloved husband of Ann for 28 years. Loving father of Riley and Gillian. Beloved son of the late Helvi and Alf Niemela and son-in-law of William Binsted and the late Violet Binsted. Dear brother of Nancy Niemela of Mexico and brother-in-law of Jane Binsted and Wayne Pushka of the Bahamas. Dear uncle of Liam Morantz and Kyle Pushka.
Norman was an avid sports fan and a loyal supporter of the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Steelers. Norm will be forever remembered for the love that he had for his family, friends, golf, cooking, travel, and his love of life and living in the moment. Norm was always up for an adventure on the spur of the moment. A celebration of Norm’s life will take place at a later date, to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated.
