Norman Kronick
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the age of ninety-one. Devoted husband of Judith (Judy) Pass for fifty-five years. Committed father and father-in-law of Margot and Ken Ursic, Ilana Kronick and Robert Stephens. A very proud Grandpa of Sasha and Oscar Ursic; Fran and Jed Stephens. Son of the late Ralph and the late Fanny Kronick. He and his close-knit four siblings grew up in Vankleek Hill, Ontario. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Rupert and Merle Kronick, Lila and the late Irvin Lesk, Joe and Libby Kronick, and Marlene Kronick and brother-in-law of Richard and Joy Pass, Harriet and Phil Freidenreich. Norman will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews, his family and all who knew him. Norman was a caring, authentic and pragmatic man who loved his family and took great pride in a job well done. He was a true ‘people person’, often there with a funny story and always willing to help someone in need. Heartfelt gratitude to the medical team and staff of both, the Cardiac and Palliative Care Units, at the MUHC Royal Victoria Hospital. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Donald Berman Jewish Eldercare Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Rodeph Sholom Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, 4189 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Attendees are asked to wear a mask. Shiva at 6950 ch. de la Côte-Saint-Luc (Main Floor Reception Room) from 1:00 to 3:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27. Once again, attendees are asked to wear a mask.
