It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Moreno Tiu at 82 years old. She peacefully passed away on Monday, July 25th 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.
Beloved wife of the late Rene Tiu. Sorrowfully missed by her children and their partners, Mylene Tiu Natividad, Joy Tiu Basilan (Rolando Basilan), Sajid Tiu (Marivic Tiu), and Marie Ann Cyvil Tiu Esmeralda (George Esmeralda). The most treasured “Lola Mommy” of Adrian Natividad, Aisa Natividad (Cherry Ann Sumawoang), Ariza Natividad (Arnold Santiaguel), Paul Basilan, Ruth Basilan, John Basilan, Sofia Renee Tiu, Joaquin Rene Tiu, and George Esmeralda. Loved by her great grandchildren, Andrei Aissaac Natividad and Alessandra Adrisalene Santiaguel.
Norma was an adored member within the Kincardine community, touching the lives of many through her ability to sing, dance, and socialize with others. Her friendliness, joy, and charisma left a great impression in the hearts of all who knew her.
The Tiu Family will be receiving friends for visitation on Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st, from 3-7pm, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home. The mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 2nd at 11am at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (749 Russell St., Kincardine). Fr. Thomas Manninezhath will be officiating. The reception will follow at the church for all guests.
If desired, memorial donations in Norma’s memory will be received by the Huron Shores Hospice and is greatly appreciated by the Tiu Family.
