Norma Irene Hess
(July 8, 1928 – October 12, 2022)
Passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Beloved wife of the late Ivan Ambrose Hess (Jan. 4, 1927 – Oct. 13, 2015).
Loving mother of Terry Hess (Shannon) of Peterborough and Darlene West (David) of Pontypool.
Cherished grandmother of Stephanie Giles (Jay), Samantha Hess (James), Sandy Hess (Kristine), Rebecca Kingston (Darcy), Melissa Marsh (Jay), Ashleigh Bailey (John), Brandon West (Katie) and Joel West (Alescia). Norma has been blessed with the love of 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Norma is predeceased by brother Ken Ramsay, sister Doris Jones and daughter-in-law Victoria Hess.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Tuesday October 18th from 1:00 pm until time of service in the Barnes Chapel Tuesday at 1:30
Norma will be laid to rest beside her husband at Groveside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network or Peterborough Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated.
