BENNETT, Nora Irene – Passed away peacefully at Marianhill, on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the age of 84 years.
Nora Bennett (nee Smith) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Carson Bennett. Loving mother of Russell (Deb Brown), Pembroke; Deborah (Robert Zappavigna), Ottawa and Allan (Maureen), Petawawa. Cherished grandmother of Meagan MacLeod (Brad), Andrew Bennett, Michael & Kimberley Zappavigna and Bryce & Kendra Bennett. Great-grandmother to Caleb, Brooke & Finley MacLeod. Survived by sister Patricia Kensley (late Raymond), brother Charlie (Roberta), sisters-in-law Gail (late Kenneth Sharpe), Annie Taylor (late Gordie), Claire Huckabone and Linda (Gerry) Kohlsmith. Predeceased by mother Pearl Sharpe (nee Smith) & step-father Bud Sharpe, sister Barbara Belanger (late Lorenzo) and sister-in-law Lillis Hawthorne (late Gordon), brother-in-law Millar (late Muriel) & Arnold (Joyce). Survived and missed by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St. Pembroke, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 7:00 till 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday, from 10:00 till 11:00 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Howard Cemetery, Foresters Falls.
