It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noella (née St Jules) Hnatuk, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 93.
She was born in Sault Ste Marie but raised her family in Smooth Rock Falls where she is known for her infectious smile, heartfelt laugh, the best perogies and of course; the delicious square pizzas from Nel’s Take Out.
Loving wife of the late Frederick Hnatuk.
Beloved mother of Dorice Lacoste (Mitch), Fred Hnatuk (Lise), David Hnatuk (Suzanne), Daniel Hnatuk (Line), Jocelyn Eslinger (Shawn) and Sheena Hnatuk (late Jim).
Adored grandmother of Wayne Hnatuk, Natasha Skinner, Terry-Anne Dorion, Raymond Lacoste, Garth Hnatuk, Nathan Hnatuk, Mandy Hnatuk-Moerike, Shawn Hnatuk-Kaufman, Dan Hnatuk and Melissa Hnatuk.
Loving great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren.
Survived by her beloved sisters Edna and Alice, her brothers Louis and Noel.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Alexina (née Boyer) St Jules, and by her brother Maurice.
Noella will be missed by several family members and friends.
