Myrna Mae Eldridge Reeves 19332022 avis de deces death notice

Myrna Mae (Eldridge) Reeves
1933-2022
Myrna passed away peacefully on Christmas Day
2022 surrounded by her family and in the presence of peace and love.
She was the last surviving member of her family and will be deeply
missed by her children Nancy (Norman and children Angela and Ryan),
Cary (Kevin and children Jason and Ross), Carmen (Rick and children
Teresa and Jonathan), Lissa (Steve and children Laura, Jennifer and
Graeme), Marjorie (Andy and child Joshua) and Bruce (Cheryl and child
Mackenzie) as well as her sister-in-law Mary. Beloved by 10 great
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband,
Clifford and siblings Sheila, Ronald, Marjorie and
Richard.
Mom was a
very independent, active, devoutly religious and intelligent person.
She enjoyed her time as a teacher and raising her family in New Ross,
and then time spent in Martin’s Point. When she retired, Mom
enjoyed spending her time playing music (she could play any
instrument), demonstrating heritage crafts (always an educator),
braiding mats, quilting and laughter. Humour was a very important
component of Mom’s life, and in retirement, she was so happy
with the debut of Uncle Newt with her brother Richard as her trusty
sidekick.
Celebration
of Mom’s life will be held at Grace Anglican Church in
Chester Basin on January 2nd at 2 PM. Fellowship to be held at the
Chester Basin Legion immediately following the service. Note: Masks
are required at the Service and Reception. There will be no
visitation. If you feel you would like to give money in memory of Mom,
take that amount and do something nice with your family, perhaps go
out for a pleasant dinner or something
fun!
We will all
miss your waves goodbye when we go down the driveway. You never missed
one. And in your own words, “don’t be sad that
I’m leaving, be happy for the times we had
together.”
Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line condolences and
inquiries may be directed to www.whitefamilyfuneralhome.com.
