Monica McCall of Sarnia passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022. Born in Paris, France, daughter of the late Jean Louise and Natalie (nee Sickevich) Morey de Morand. Loving wife of William “Benny” McCall. Devoted mother of Mike McCall (Christine McCulloch), Brian McCall (Khristine), and Bruce McCall (former daughter-in-law Wendy). Grandmother of Kayley McCall and Desmond McCall. Sister of Colette Morey de Morand (James Corcoran). Aunt of Mark and Anne Rands, and Nicole Rands. Monica attended high school in Humberside, Toronto and moved on to Toronto Normal School for Teacher’s College. While taking a course at McMaster University, she met her husband Bill. Monica taught for many years at various schools in the Sarnia-Lambton Board of Education until she retired in 1996. Later in life she became a certified scuba diver and an artist. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated. Friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 2-5 pm.
