Egan: Captain Michael Andrew (1966-2022)
At home after a very courageous battle on Tuesday July 12. Michael Egan beloved husband of Bernadette Egan (Cleal). Loving father of Niamh and Liam Egan. A strong and determined man who was proud to have served in the Canadian Armed Forces. His humour, love, support and drive will be sorely missed. Dearest son of Tommy and Mary Egan. Also survived by 2 brothers Gerard and Tom and 2 sisters Helen and Trish. Michael will also be missed by many relatives and friends back in his home town of Thurles, Ireland. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Wednesday July 20 from 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Mary’s Cathedral 279 Johnson St. Kingston on Thursday July 21 at 10am. Interment will be in Ireland at a later date. The family request that instead of flowers donations can be made to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre).
