Michael Dan MacNeil 2022

We, the family of Michael Dan MacNeil, regret to announce his passing on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, NS.
Born February 24, 1950, in Sydney, he was the son of the late James “Jim” and Annie Jane (MacKenzie) MacNeil.
Michael is survived by his sisters, Mary MacIntyre, Grand Mira South, Monica Turansky, Whitby, ON, Anne Marie (Leonard) MacArthur, Codroy Valley, NL, Shirley Snow, Sydney, Barbara Niedan, Brampton, ON and Margaret “Maggie” Penasse, Edmonton, AB; and brothers, David (Warna) MacNeil, Whitney Pier and Roddie (Lena) MacNeil, Sydney.
Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by his sister, Claire and brothers, John, James and Louis.
Special thanks to the Greenwood Options staff for their incredible love and care over the years, including his ladies, as well as the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Also thank you to White’s Funeral Home, Kentville, NS and Sydney Memorial Chapel for their combined guidance and professionalism at this difficult time.
A private family service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
