It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mercedes on Tuesday March 1, 2022, at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Beloved wife to Roy for an amazing 57 years. Loving mother to Darlene Trott (Edward) and predeceased by her son Blair Roy Veinot. Mercedes’s grandchildren meant the world to her. Brad, Lacie, Madeline, Courtney & Troy will treasure her love and kindness always. Her “Greats” …Olivia, Tyler, Mercedeys, Stella & lil Roy were truly the most amazing gifts of everlasting love. Mercedes will be fondly remembered by her brother Mylon (Rose), her sister-in-law Florence, nieces & nephews & her good friend Monique.
The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Houston, Dr. Engell & Dr. Pearce for your compassionate & excellent care. Also, many thanks to the Creemore Medical Staff for all your support.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Creemore Union Cemetery.
