Peacefully
with family by her side, the passing of Melvina Blackett age 90, of
Annandale, devoted wife of the late Chester Bruce Blackett, occurred
at the Riverview Manor on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Born in Poplar
Point, PE, July 26, 1931, daughter of the late William and Anna
(Kaneen) Robertson. Survived by her loving children, Glenda (Jackie)
Livingstone, Barry (Ferne) Blackett, Lorrene (Alan) Campbell, special
son Duane (Bonnie) Grady; cherished grandchildren, Pamela, Tanya,
Kelly, Cory, Twila, Tyler, Heather, Stephen, Mitchell, Amber, Aaron,
Josh, Ariel, Holly, Britt and Auston; adored great grandchildren, Ben,
Cassie, Sophie, T.J., Jack, Maizey, Lacey, Ryder, Cheyenne, Sawyer,
Myah, Allie, Karley, Emma, Casey, Beau, Griffin, John, Grace, Stella
and Gavin; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Robertson and Marian Robertson;
dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Will always be remembered by
numerous Foster Children. Predeceased by son Bruce; grandson Bradley;
sister Noreen Savage (Ed); brothers Paul Robertson, Heber Robertson;
three infant brothers; mother-in-law Sarah Blackett and father-in-law
Crawford Blackett.

Montague Funeral Home, with visitation on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 6
to 8 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 2:00
pm, in the Funeral Home Chapel with live streaming. Interment to take
place in the Annandale United Cemetery.
