Dr. Robert Norman McKenzie. Born September 22, 1946.
Died December 28, 2021 at 75 years of age.
Robert died peacefully at home. He leaves behind his wife, Lynda of 45 years, his son Kyle and his wife Alise and their two daughters. Robert is also survived by his brother Tom and his two sisters, Cindy and Debby.
Robert was predeceased by two of his sons, James and Bryan and his parents.
Robert was a successful anesthesiologist for approximately twenty-five years at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto This was followed by teaching science for high school at the Toronto Waldorf School in Richmond Hill. And then a Coroner in York Region and Muskoka, a job he loved with all his being.
His other loves/ interests in life were bird watching, golfing, cross country skiing, sailing and anything to do with hockey. He also liked singing and joined a rock choir in Huntsville where he and Lynda met many people in the community and developed great friends. He spent a period of time sketching and sculpting in clay. Robert was an enthusiastic amateur plumber and always ready to purchase another extension cord!
