It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John McIntyre on Friday February 25th, 2022 in his 62nd year. Predeceased by his parents Archie and MaryAnne McIntyre, Father In Law, Merv Lacharity and his Sister In Law Evelyn Lacharity. Beloved Husband and Best Friend to Chris. Lovingly remembered by his children Breann (Mike), Lynn (Aaron), Ryan, John (Dawn), and Jesse (Nina). Adored Papa to Tionna, Madison, Sydney, Ava, Bowden, Chantal, Caelyn, Jase, Addilyn and Greenlee. Son In Law to Josephine Lacharity. He will be forever missed by his siblings Audrey (Tom), Sue (Aldo), Dan, Cindy, Donny (Jen), Theresa (Mike), Michael (Kristina), Tamara and Michelle. Brother in law to Mike (Judy) and Michelle. Cherished by many nieces and nephews.
If there was a party to be had or fireworks to be let off John was the guy to do it. It was his life mission to see those around him, whether family or friends, smile and have a good time. This is why he worked so hard his entire life. John was a successful and driven business owner who was never afraid to take risks. His love of cars and anything fast was known by all that knew him and Drag racing was his passion along with building the cars himself. His knowledge and experience was something he proudly shared with friends at the racetrack and with his Grandson. John enjoyed his winters in Florida and time in the summer at the resort, all along side the love of his life and his best friend Chris. He will be deeply missed but the memories we all have will ensure that he is never forgotten. Friends are welcome to join the family to Celebrate John’s life at JW Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St East, Dunnville on Saturday March 5, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Cremation has taken place.
