Maybelle Freda Wachter 1937 2022

Maybelle Freda Wachter (neé Stoehr)
April 21, 1937 – May 17, 2022
It is will great sorrow that the family of Maybelle Wachter announce her passing at Breton Long Term Care on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
For many years, May was a devoted volunteer at the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store and very much enjoyed the time she spent there. She was a caring and loving friend, and took a special liking to babies and baby animals; it was not uncommon for her to adopt animals from the auction market. Above all else, May was the greatest mom and was always there, even when times were tough.
Maybelle will forever be lovingly remembered by her children, Calvin (Robyne) Wachter, Sheree (Michael) McKewen, Murray Wachter, Laurie (Guy) Miller and Cheryl (cliff) Ross; ten grandchildren, Kevin, Keith, Kyle, Sarah, Elizabeth, Rachel, Kaycee, Brodie, Corey and Dustin along with their families, including her many great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and life-long friends.
She is predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Alfred Wachter; brother, Ernie Stoehr; parents, Gertrude and Kurt Stoehr and nephew, Tyson Stoehr.
Maybelle’s family wish to express their gratitude to the entire staff at St. Michael’s Long Term Care and Breton Long Term care for the exceptional care provided to their mother.
For those who so desire, memorial contributions in May’s name may be made directly to Breton Long Term Care, 4919 49 Avenue, Breton, Alberta T0C 0P0.
