Mavis Rhoda (Llewellyn) Whynot
1946-2022
Mavis
Rhoda (Llewellyn) Whynot – age 76, formerly of Bridgewater,
passed away in Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville on
Sunday, November 27, 2022. Born in Italy Cross, she was a daughter of
the late Walter and Lottie (Slauenwhite)
Llewelyn.
Mavis
was a loving and devoted mother and loved her family dearly. She
enjoyed embroidery, baking, making crafts and Christmas decorations
and was an avid Amazing Race fan.
Mavis is
survived by her children, Matthew (Michele) Whynot, Red Deer, AB; Troy
Whynot (Nathalie LaPointe), Saint John, NB; Christopher Whynot (Jason
Platts), Moncton, NB; and Charlene Whynot, Saint John, NB; brothers,
Billy, Banford and Bobby; sister, Joan; as well as many nieces and
nephews.
In
addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, John,
Marcus, Owen, Bowman, Giffin and Sammy; and sisters, Avis, Jeanette,
Jean, Loretha, Gilda, Christina, Izilda, Annie, Gayla and
Doris.

Cremation has taken place. In keeping
with Mavis’ wishes there will be no visitation or funeral
service. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. In
lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Kings Regional
Rehabilitation Centre. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line
