The family announces with great sorrow his peaceful passing at the Golden Manor, on July 25, 2022 at the age of 71. Dear father of Jessie Allard (Norm), James Gosselin (Joy) and Daniel Gosselin (Kirsty). Loving grandfather to Britney Allard (Austin), Colin Allard (Josee), Elliot Gosselin and Lindsay Allard. Great-grandfather to Jadyn, Callum, and Macy. Dear brother of Monique Roy (Armand) and Nicole Lamothe and brother-in-law of Marthe Gosselin, Gertrude Gosselin, and Marie-Rose Gosselin. He will sadly be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and the mother of his children, Elizabeth Bourgon. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Annette Gosselin, his brothers Gilles Gosselin, Roger Gosselin, and Marcel Gosselin as well as sister Huguette Boissonneault and brothers-in-law, Yves Boissonneault, Leo Bouchard and Lucien Lamothe. Dad was a great man who dearly loved his family and cherished any time together.
We would like to thank Dr. Rick Kvas and Dr. Lynne Schwertfeger for their courteous medical care over the years. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Golden Manor for their care throughout the past several years and to the staff of West 2 for their compassion and support during his final days.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be held on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at 2:30 pm at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Maurice est prédécédé par ses parents Joseph et Annette Gosselin, ses frères Gilles Gosselin, Roger Gosselin et Marcel Gosselin, ainsi que par sa sœur Huguette Boissonneault et ses beaux-frères Yves Boissonneault, Leo Bouchard et Lucien Lamothe. Papa était un homme formidable qui adorait sa famille et chérissait tous les moments passés ensemble.

Selon ses souhaits, l’incinération a pris place. L’enterrement aura lieu le mardi 26 juillet 2022 à 14h30 au cimetière Mémorial de Timmins.
