Maurice Henry Sneep 2022

Passed away peacefully at the Toronto General Hospital in Toronto on Monday, October 31, 2022, with his family by his side. Maurice Sneep of Cobourg was in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Mary Sneep (nee O’Dwyer). Dear father of Matthew Sneep (Diane), Eric Sneep (Shelby), Jeremy Sneep (Chantal). Grandfather of Nathan, Jack, Olivia, Emmett, London, Lyrah, Laiken and Delilah. Brother of Johanna and Elfreda (pre-deceased) and uncle of Sonja, Gregory and Michael. Remembered fondly by Mary’s children Mary Hayes (Geoff), Richard Hayes (Shelby) and grandchildren Brendan, Bridget, Euan, Esme, Orla and Teigue. Maurice was passionate about life and loved motorcycling, sailing, camping, reading, dancing and listening to music. He was a graphic artist with incredible artistic talent. In retirement, he devoted his time to painting the Northumberland landscape and vintage vehicles. There will be a private family burial service at Cobourg Union Cemetery in Cobourg and a public Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at the CVICU at Toronto General Hospital for the love, compassion, and care of Maurice during his time there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Maurice Henry
